I dont think Dr Grekin actually works here anymore. As with ALOT Of Drs these days there are nurse pract & interns on staff. When Dr Grekin 1st opened he was very involved. Now not so much. However I have not seen any discount for seeing an intern or nurse?? No you still pay the extra for seeing a a specialist, even tho he s bot even in the building. As long as you dont have cancer this place is probably ok. Long wait in waiting room. They must overbook.
My husband & I had an annual derm appt at 2:15. We arrived at 2:00. Did not get called back until after 3:00. We were told by the staff they needed to check on my husband’s insurance card. Finally, got back into an exam room & waited another 1/2 hour. 3 other people entered the room looking for someone else. Then someone came in & asked us if we’d be willing to see the nurse practitioner. We just ended up getting dressed and leaving - never saw Dr. Grekin. Very chaotic office. We won’t go back!
He spent about 5 minutes with me. Sprayed unknown chemical on my face in 5 areas. Then loped off a possible skin cancer area- all w/o warning. Had a student w/ him- no intro. I was to receive a full body cancer screening exam- he looked @ arms , back & face. Without magnification. The most unprofessional & incomplete exam I have ever had.
First time being a patient for the Grekin Institute. When I got to the office, I had to wait an hour to see the doctor( I don't believe it takes an hour to verify a person's insurance). After an hour, I was placed in a room to wait for the doctor. When the doctor arrived, it wasn't the doctor who I was suppose to see and wasn't notified prior for a change of doctor (I had to drive 40 minutes from work to see a non scheduled doctor. Overall experience was very unprofessional and poor.
Dr Grekin and staff are of the highest expertise. Myself and my family have been patients for many years for various skin issues and we are all highly satisfied with the knowledge, attention and care of the Grekin institute. Our problems are resolved quickly with ease of making appointments with short wait times. Highly professional and Highly Recommended!
