Would give negative star rating if possible. To begin, he lack empathy and professionalism. Does not review patient charts, which leads to inaccurate radiology tests, increase cost for patients and multiple las minute surgery cancellations. To make matters worse his staff are a definite reflection of his leadership. Everyone is incredibly unprofessional, also lack empathy, disorganized, and rude. I would STRONGLY urge others to seek other Orthopedic physicians.

Dr. Lercel is very condescending, impatient and rude. I had 3 office visits with him over the past 4 months and received no medical help.

I had an incredibly unpleasant experience with the doctor's office, specifically their front office staff. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to my appointment, but the lack of professionalism and rudeness from the associates really ruined it for me. After waiting for 5 weeks to see the doctor, I received a call from an associate to cancel my appointment a few days before my scheduled time. I am so devastated with his care back in 2015 he did my first surgery and he discharged me without a plan. Afterwards I was in so much pain I dragged my leg for 3 years because of him. Until I found a good doctor that re-recommended surgery on the same knee. Now 2022, I over worked my good knee because of those 3 years dragging my leg. I am currently recovering from surgery of my good leg (now injured). I highly do not recommend this ortho, you are just a number in his eyes.

After 1 year of trying to get the ordered MRI, I give up. Procedure was held up for a “code” which was not needed. I made SEVERAL follow up call and never received a call back. They say they didn’t receive the calls. Now they want to start all over but I’m seeking another doctor. I don’t believe Dr. Lercel is a good doctor but his office is not.

Extremely disappointed ! Dr Lurcel misdiagnosed me and lied to me, my primary care Dr and my insurance about his diagnosis. I had no recourse but to files a formal complaint to my insurance about his behavior. I highly recommend you looks for another surgeon.

Dr. Lercel performed my rotator cuff surgery and he was excellent. I followed his pre-surgery requirements closely, including a significant amount of physical therapy to achieve excellent range of motion, and I recovered quickly. More importantly, despite being told by all of my physical therapists that my recovery would be very painful, I felt no pain throughout my recovery. There were times of moderate discomfort, but never pain. He was also kind and patient with me. I could not recommend Dr. Lercel more highly.
