You will never see or talk to the Doctor after the surgery. He moved offices without notice and the office phones did not work. Very unfriendly staff. I guess this is what socialized medicine looks like.
My chart shows that I am allergic to Steroids. On my first visit, he gave me a cortisone shot in my shoulder. I was sick for 2 weeks!!!! Brought me back 3 more times. And NEVER even examined me or even touched me again!!!! You would think a Doctor could or would read a patients chart!!!!
Surgery day November 1, 2023. Dr Holt was confident. Did the posterior method and explained why it was the right answer for me. Result? I do every thing I want as a fitness athlete. Back, front squat, cleans, deadlifts, box jumps, lunges, split squats to name a few exercises that became undo able as my hip degenerated. Most important, quail hunting. I can walk, no I can motor. Osage county to the sand hills in western Oklahoma to the crp in Kansas. What a pleasure. Thanks Dr. Holt, my dogs thank you too!
I had a hip replaced 5-6 years ago. He was so precise! I have never looked back and have had zero issues. Now I’m going to need the other hip replaced and there is no one I would even consider except Dr. Holt. He is very kind and extremely intelligent. I’m not sure if there is any other orthopedic surgeon’s in Tulsa other than Dr. Holt, is there? Best of the best!
I've had Dr. Holt replace both of my hips within a four-year period. I didn't know what to expect with the first hip replacement and recovery, but he did an excellent job explaining and supporting me. With the second hip, Dr. Holt tried a couple of things to buy me time before I had to have it replaced. He talks with you before the surgery while they are getting you prepped. Dr. Holt has helped me with a number of issues over the years and most recently with a calm muscle tear. I called him in the middle of the day and he was kind enough to make time for me in his off hours and gave me excellent advice and even a pair of crutches at no cost. He's been very reliable and I can recommend him to anyone.
I have had multiple shoulder issues due to a dislocation and Dr. Holt has saved me from surgery. His attention to detail, wisdom and bedside manner are excellent. I no longer live in the Tulsa area, but I would fly back to be seen by him. Best of the best.
