Orloff and medical staff were first rate. The rest terrible, for example: The bills for 6/17 and 6/27 were $95.92 ($35 for the office visit was paid at the reception desk on 6/17) and $249.95, respectively. BCBS was acknowledged as my insurer. BCBS's EOBs were respectively $35 and $8.21. To clear up this discrepancy, when I visited Dr. Orloff on 7/20, I asked to speak with Billing and was told they would call me. As of today, that has not happened. In this visit, as in every visit, Dr. Orloff sees me as a person and not just a name on a chart. He inquired about my well-being and made connections between what I told him and previous events. He reviewed my treatment plan and explained other options. At other times, he has even contacted my primary care physician to share information. I never feel rushed or ignored. These are just a few of the reasons that I like and respect him and will continue to see him.

I could not have had a better experience than I did with Dr. Orloff. He was not just courteous and professional; he was friendly and easy to talk to. He explained why I needed to see a urologist. When I told him I had already tried to make an appointment with a urologist but could not get one until the end of August, he asked for my cell phone number and left the room. Did not pick Dr. Orloff for my oncologist. VCS did. Had I been given a field of candidates, Dr. Orloff would have been a likely choice. Not a medical professional, so could use more time to digest content of information communicated at patient visits. At times Dr. Orloff is somewhat abrupt at patient's need to go over information provided.
