Dr. Orloff and his staff are efficient, calm and compassionate. Dr. Orloff is smart and engaging and took an interest in my individual case, carefully explaining to me all aspects of my very thorough diagnosis and care. I have been very pleased with my overall experience and quality of care and recommended Dr. Orloff very highly.

Very straight shooter who knows his stuff. Front desk staff is incredibly professional as well.
He gives me clear picture of the status of my prostate cancer. I am sure I am getting the best available treatment from him. His comments on my problem are always encouraging, and I stay healthy.
Dr. Orloff was exemplary yesterday as my doctor of over eight years. He is knowledgeable and excellent at explaining my blood lab reports. He cared enough to call two of my other doctors to coordinate my future with treatment that is pending. He is personable and a pleasure to work with. The Virginia Cancer Specialists have a winner with Dr. Orloff. He has been my doctor for the past four years and I can only praise him for his dedication and his treatments for me. I had heard that his bedside manner was not great but after meeting him I totally disagree. He takes his time and answers all of my questions. Dr. Orloff knows his oncology, hematology, and nephrology, and he's very good at explaining your individual health issue as it relates to the bigger picture of research papers, curent academic knowledge, and his own extensive experience with varied patients. He also visits Inova Fair Oaks Hospital and Inova Fairfax Hospital, which are both great hospitals.

I actually think that he is a great doctor - it's true that he doesn't have bedside manners and can be abrupt and even forget to say hello. We used to laugh about that with my late husband. BUT, one time when he was in vacation my husband got very sick and was seen by every single doctors in that practice including the head of the oncology department. Not one could find out what was going on, Dr. Orloff came back few days later and in 5 minutes got it right. Surprised of bad reviews on google.
