I really wish dr. Champion’s office would continue to do telahealth or video visits instead of making patients come in to the clinic to be seen . I was told only nurse practitioner would telahealth and Doctor Champoin will not be doing telahealth appointments which makes it difficult for patients. Please update your system to do telahealth appointments for next year.
He is the best! I have been going to him for over 20 years! So understanding and kind. Very knowledgeable and he is able to explain your condition in understandable words. He will take the time to talk to you and never feel rushed at my office appointments with him!
Dr Champion is an awesome doctor, with an exceptional bedside manner. He is very professional, caring and compassionate, as well as being an outstanding Gastroentrologist!
We love Dr Champion! My husband has been seeing him for many years. After having bad experience with a doctor in Montgomery, someone recommended Dr Champion. He found my husband’s problem and we will not be using anyone else unless Dr Champion refers us.
A very nice man but impossible to get in when having very major issues. Always pushed off to PA with a new prescription without treating a very serious issue. Ultimately had to get another physician to intervene.
Dr. Champion is a very kind and good man, however, the way this office is run is awful. I have struggled for 6 years to get attentive care for my Ulcerative Colitis and have had no luck here. They do not truly care about their patients – there is no personal touch and no compassion. I now go to a new doctor. Dr. Champion is a great listener and after many years of being told nothing was wrong with me from a Dr. Philpot in Homewood, Dr. Champion was able to give me my diagnosis and helped find precancerous polyps in my colon! It is extremely easy for me to get refills on my prescriptions and to be able to see him when I need to.
Doctor Champion is a great Doctor. He is very thorough and very caring. Listens to everything I am concerned about and is very honest. I feel blessed to have him as my gastroenterologist.
I had an evaluation done by DR Champion and found him to be an excellent physician- caring and compassionate. He did my colonoscopy and I highly recommend him.
