To begin with, going solar is a big decision. Renu told me upfront that if it would not benefit me they would not try and sell me on it. With such a decision I had a lot of questions, and they were able to answer all of them with honest answers. They were straightforward with how the entire build and function process was going to go. good group to work with on this project. I'm a fan of Tesla of the battery backup / night -time power option. I was impressed with the amount of time they spent on my electrical panels to ensure the correct configuration
The gentleman we set everything up through has no idea what he is doing he did not know how to read a electric bill, and did not give us enough solar panels for future use like I told him many of times. But since I am not solar panel expert he said I needed to trust him. Obviously I should not have trusted him and listened to the numbers I had.
Clean work site. Own branded trucks and trailers. I was particular about the electrical conduit wiring runs and they did a great job accommodating my requests. The wiring is virtually invisible to the naked eye and the panels look fantastic on the roof! Highly recommend this professional outfit.
Short version: Great initial experience with great prices, but a general lack of proactive communication plagued the process. Renu seems to be a little short staffed. Some major problems (roof leak and Duke rebate problems) were able to be worked out satisfactorily. Early production results seem promising. Just got the engineering design (very detailed) for my project. Renu helps every step of the way with dealing with the HOA, getting work permits/working with the utility. I expect installation to be complete within the month. Very excited. SUPER people who communicate well. Couldn't be happier with my choice of Renu so far!
At first I was skeptical about getting solar panels. I thought it would be too much trouble and not worth the time. I was wrong!! After talking with Nick Zink we had our panels installed and 6 months later we have seen amazing savings on our power bill. I also cannot say how amazing Nick has been.
