This review is for the staff and not the attorney himself. I have heard great things about Jay and was referred to him by others. It really saddens me to write this low review. His staff lack punctuality, communication, and accountability. I’ve left messages and nobody returned my calls or emails. I paid $1,200 for a consultation and document review but was super disappointed with the experience. During our meeting, it seemed the attorney wasn’t familiar with parts of my trust document that I had provided in advance. He advised me that I wasn’t eligible for HEMS distributions under my father’s trust, but in my opinion, that interpretation doesn’t match the language in the document or IRS GST exemption rules for 2010 (which he said was a big part of why I was not eligible). After a preliminary meeting with the Greene Law Firm to determine my needs, the team created a comprehensive Estate Plan. When we met to go through the plan documents, I was impressed with how well the team worked together. Jay personally walked me through each article of the plan to make certain I was comfortable with the contents. The next day, I received an online version.
