I am so glad I chose Greene County General to deliver our baby! The care I received was wonderful. From the first appointment I felt like both my health and the baby’s health truly mattered. The education provided in the Baby Bundles program is wonderful and absolutely necessary. The follow-up care they provide for the momma after you leave the hospital is so important, including screening for postpartum depression and breast-feeding help. I would definitely recommend delivering at GCGH!
Thank you Greene County General Hospital and first responders. You saved my mother-in-law’s life. I called 911 when she was experiencing chest pain and losing consciousness. They got her in, saw she was having a heart attack and had her on the way to Regional within minutes. Dr. Favilla said there was zero heart damage because of the actions of GCGH. We are blessed to have you. Thank you to Dr. Lewis and the nurses from the bottom of our hearts!
I would not go here for stitches. I thank god I was transferred when I went into labor 6 weeks early. I didnt realize they couldnt take anything but basically a perfect and full term baby when I chose them originally. It's SO worth driving somewhere else for medical care and appointments if you're able! Of course there are some good people here, but overall I do not reccomend to anyone.
The way my family member was and being treated while at the ER and admitted has been excellent service! Treated my 94 year old grandma like she mattered and listening to her! Treating her with respect. gentle and professional! Caring and helpful!
