Do not take your childen here! My son who enjoyed the dentist was treated so poorly at his visit here by a hygenist that he ran out of the office at his past dentist appointmnet . An innocent four year old boy was forced into x-rays that he could not take and when the unkind hygenist couldn't do it she left him in the x-ray room in the dark to get someone else.
If I could give GVK 10 stars I would. The front desk personnel are very sweet and accommodating. The assistants are wonderful with children of all ages (and their worried parents) and Dr. Chris is the most patient, caring, and helpful doctor I've ever met in my life. My son loved the playground in the waiting room and the little toy Dr. Chris gave him. My husband loved that Dr. Chris personally gave us a tour of the office for future visits. Dr. Chris is awesome! I have a sorta high maintenance child and he is wonderful with him. He sits down and explains everything he is going to do before he does it. He is great with both of my boys. I tell everyone about this office. I had HORRIBLE experiences at the dentist as a kid and I don't go anymore! It's so important kids have good memories of the dentist. We have also changed insurance 3 times and they take everything we have.
I've been taking my three children here (aged 5, 8 and 10) a year and a half. The staff is very friendly and compassionate. Dr. Chris is very gentle with the kids and explains everything to them without talking down to them. My oldest child has always been very fearful of visits to the dentist, but she always does very well with Dr. Chris and his staff and they are very accommodating of her (unfounded) fears!
