Dale gives his all making his buildings as green as possible. He works hard to provide composting, environmentally friend cleaning supplies, garden plots, and hopefully soon to install solar panels. I LOVE the location, right off of Central in NE. The rent is very reasonable with perks like free parking and WiFi. I would definitely recommend living in one of his units.
I lived in the Portland Avenue property for one year, moved to another country for a year, and am now planning on returning in July for another year, that's how great this place is! The location is fantastic, particularly if you work in the city (totally walkable, plus there is a bust stop literally right outside the front door if needed). Incredible pricing for where it's located! Gorgeous apartments and every unit has its own spacious balcony. The staff is dedicated to sustainable living and is eager to educate and assist tenants into a greener lifestyle. Dale goes out of his way to make sure any issues/ maintenance requests are dealt with efficiently. Extremely positive experience being a tenant at Green Rock! Dale & his staff are attentive to your needs but perhaps more importantly they make you feel way more than a "number"...they make you feel right at home!!
I have been a tenant with Green Rock for a month and a half and have been very impressed thus far. Upkeep and maintenance is great as is communication. Dale (the owner) is very invested in environmental initiatives which I support 100%. Rent is more than fair for my unit. So far I am thrilled with my choice of landlord and do not see myself moving anytime soon!
