Very large campground with lots of trees. Two pools. Nice staff. A little more than I'd like to spend for a site. $50/night. Bathrooms need work and should be cleaned more often. But we enjoyed our weekend.
This was our family's first ever camping experience with our new travel trailer and we had a great time! The grounds are beautiful, the staff is kind and helpful, and our two young boys loved the planned activities! The frogs and cicadas singing at night while I sat next to my campfire and looked at the stars was the perfect end to the day both nights we were there. I didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back!
This past weekend I returned to Green River Oaks campground after an 11 year hiatus. Kudos to the new ownership for everything they have done to bring this campground back to life! Our group of approximately 30 had a wonderful time! We will definitely be back! Thank you for everything!

My wife and I have been seasonal campers here now for 10 years. Beautiful park, but it was dead and literally there was nothing to do. Since the Gillan family has taken over, the positive changes were immediately apparent. To say that they turned this place around is an understatement. Camping is fun again. My grown children are now happy to go camping again too. It's a good community environment.
We just spent our first weekend camping here. The staff was so nice and really went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Our kids (ages 4 and 2) had a blast! The craft activity was great for them and they absolutely loved the tractor train ride! The pools were very clean and well maintained, as were all of the facilities. We made some new friends and had such a good time we signed on for a seasonal site before leaving. We are really looking forward to many great new memories to be made here!
