The Green Light Diner is the vision of owners Laura and John Nesby. Long time restaurateurs in the Poulsbo community, The Green Light aims to pay homage not only to the roots of Historic Poulsbo but also the American dining scene by rekindling the spirit of the classic diner. Serving quality but simple "Comfort Food" meals complete with a vintage soda fountain. Breakfast is served all day as well as a broad lunch and dinner menu. Local craft beers on tap, wine and a full cocktail list is also available.

Really good quality food, excellent service, and a definite must come back!
Great atmosphere and setup. Super nice and helpful staff. Also loved they could accommodate Gluten free items for me as I have Celiac Disease. I had a GF bacon cheeseburger and it was the best one I have ever had!!! Absolutely love this place and can’t wait to go back and try their GF strawberry Belgian waffle. Prices were good as well.
Best ever! We were there as part of a film project and our server, Daniel, was so fun and friendly we added him into the project. Plus the salmon omelette was the best omelette ever, can’t recommend enough!

I have been to the red light diner on Kitsap way before. If that is any indication of the green light diner..we will be visiting you soon!!! Yumm...
Excellent food, big portions, friendly staff. They also have unique milkshakes and desserts. You can upgrade your milkshake to an adult version.
Make sure to have their delicious clam chowder. Lovely staff, great 50s decor.
