Opened in 1657, this tavern was once a popular meeting place for Paul Revere and his revolutionary comrades. Found between Faneuil Hall and the North End, the pub now serves as an Irish-themed post-work gathering place for suited types from the financial district and Government Center. The bar hosts live music Wednesday through Sunday nights. The restaurant serves toppling sandwiches, lobster, burgers and traditional Irish Fare.

Information on the history of the tavern on website is grossly misleading. Food was average at best. Beer was served warm. I recommend going across the street to the Bell and Hand.
Good spot on the Freedom Trail. Good food and beer selection. Perfect Boston setting, live music, fun crowd.
The Green Dragon has the perfect atmosphere for a tavern. It was surprisingly easy to find on foot too as it's right off the Freedom Trail. I had the Fish and Chips with a Sam Adams Boston Brick Red. Food quality and taste were outstanding. This place doesn't disappoint. 5/5 Would highly recommend.
We had a Tuesday afternoon left in Boston before a Red Sox game that evening. So, we enjoyed a short pub crawl and spent most of the afternoon at The Green Dragon. The bartender was friendly, fun and attentive and shared with us the history of this bar. Thank for a great time!
A little jewel that many Bostonians do not even know about.
Have to have at least one beer and strike up a conversation with the locals
Horrible atmosphere and terrible, rude service. Don't waste your time.
Had a nice meal and Guinness beers a few nights ago with bartender Raymond. Great pub.
Like the historic atmosphere. Good beer and good food.
