Well, it was probably an off day. My chowder was cold...and my burger was over cooked. Both were sent back...and while the burger was remade correctly and eventually taken off the bill, the chowder came back..just nooked..with the same oyster crackers I had just put on. ..was really hoping for a fresh cup...
Business response:
Steven Chapman I am sorry you did not get a fresh cup of chowder. We strive for the highest standards of hospitality at The Green Dragon Tavern, I will directly address the kitchen myself. I know it to be true that the Chef takes great pride in his offerings to the public and will be disheartened to discover you had a less than exemplary experience. We truly appreciate your input and your patronage, would you let us right the situation? Please email sean@somerspubs.com and we can discuss further arrangements to guarantee you... read more
The original House of the Sons of Liberty and Paul Revere very cool historically speaking
Business response:
Thank you Scott
Food was pretty good altogether. Freedom trail combo was $16 but you do get a lot for your money and the food in the platter tasted good. Took over 10 minutes to get our drink order and put our food order in. It was steady but not nearly as busy as the nearby restaurants. The server was nice but it took 20 minutes for them to come back over and check on us which during that time we waited for refills. Not many menu options neither compared to other restaurants. Wouldn't shoot down going there again next time I'm in Boston.
Business response:
Thanks Ed. We look forward to seeing you again.
Always my #1 spot when I'm swinging through. Excellent service with an outstanding bartender. 5 stars from Vermont!
Business response:
Thank you Shelby. We appreciate you stopping in.
They had a great band and some good beer. Good times.
Business response:
Thank you Steve.
The only thing I really have to complain about this far was the fact that my margarita did not taste that great. It was way too sour and I I have had better margaritas. But I enjoyed the band that night Brick Park sounded awesome and my friend really enjoyed it. I will come back again just won't order margarita
Business response:
Thank you Travolta we look forward to seeing you again.
My friend and I had the BEST time Sunday! Amazing bartender. Amazing people!
Business response:
Thank you Kelly. We apologize your patronage and are glad you had a good time.
Little hole in the wall but the food was great! French onion soup was wonderful and the fish fry tasted fresh and not greasy. Really reasonably priced as well. The only bad part was the music was a little too loud for the space he was playing in.
Business response:
Thank you Andrea. We appreciate your patronage.
We couldnt help but discuss political views while sipping on brews. I had clam chowder and it was great. It was history infused. A must stop.
Business response:
Thank you Jim we are happy you enjoyed your stay.
