I visited Dr. William Ballard on 8 12 24 at Center For Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics for a first visit due to worsening pain in my left knee. The office staff was friendly and efficient, and the wait time was minimal. Dr. Ballard was thorough, explained everything clearly, and answered all my questions. The nurses were also kind and professional. Overall, I was impressed with the care I received and would highly recommend Dr. Ballard to others.'
Everything was good.
Dr Ballard did a total right knee replacement at the surgery center. He is always pleasant and complementary of his surgical team He visited me before the surgery and prayed with my wife and I. The staff at the surgery center were great and did a good job of keeping my wife informed of my progress throughout the process.
Dr Smalley showed me my shoulder x-ray and pointed out the arthritis, bone spur and lack of spacing in that joint. He listened very closely to what I had to say and answered all my questions. I have a nickel allergy and he reassured me saying they have an all-titanium prosthesis they can use to replace my shoulder joint. I am planning on proceeding with this in the future. Dr.Ballard did a total knee replacement on my left knee in Sept 2022....he did an amazing job and I recovered quickly....Yesterday, July 24th he did a total knee replacement on my right knee....it is feeling great today, because of the wonderful surgeon he is!! The whole office staff function well together. From start to finish you knew exactly what was going on and what to expect. He cared about me as a person not just 'another knee surgery'. He always took time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. I never felt rushed. My surgical procedure went well without any complications. Before surgery he explained the procedure and even showed me an artificial knee. He did not push me to have the surgery. He was very professional. Educated me in my issue and how he would treat it. Very cordial.
Staff is very efficient and helpful. Dr Ballard is very kind and empathetic--makes good medical decisions with honesty and care.
He answers my questions & explains the solutions to the issues. Seems honest & trustworthy. He has done 2 hand surgeries on me previously & treating me now for the other hand.
