On December 23, 1970, The State of South Carolina issued a Certificate of Incorporation to The Summerville Chamber of Commerce, the purpose of which was to advance the commercial, industrial and civic interest of the Town of Summerville and its trade area. The Summerville Chamber promotes elitism here locally. Their sole purpose is to advocate for sweetheart deals for businesses to come here while our infrastructure crumbles. The businesses recieve the tax breaks while working men and women have the largest tax increase in the history of SC with the gas tax. Does that sound fair? The Chamber doesnt have the best interests of the people who have less in their monthly budgets now bc of an increase on working people that they support and defend.
Great organization keeping in touch with social and political greivances issues within the Knightsville community .
Summerville Chamber does an amazing job engaging the community and creating opportunities for local businesses to thrive.

Congrats to the Summerville Chamber for their recent awards at the NC/SC CACCE Conference. I'm not surprised. Since I started my business in 2004 we have been mutual partners - I've assisted them with their HR needs and they have helped me from Day 1 in promoting my business. Even though I have left Summerville, I'm still a member. Outstanding ROI in becoming a Chamber member!
