I live a lot closer to Syracuse airport but I'd rather drive to Rochester to fly out. I like it a lot better. I park in the red lot and the shuttle bus is at my car before I put my car in park. Awesome customer service in and out of the airport. Highly highly recommend. I love Southwest Airlines.
TSA in Rochester is the worst, particularly if you are a breastfeeding mother who needs to travel with a pump.
Great place. Easy to get in and out of. I've been to Syracuse airport to much time spent getting in and out. Moved to Waterloo 5 years ago near the new casino that was built here. Love this area. Grew up and went to school in Skaneateles New York. Part of my family moved to Florida. No thanks. Started my job in 1985 at Nalgene tubing. Then my boss bought it out and changed the name to Finger Lakes Extrusion In Canandaigua New York. Rochester Airport has great people and does an awesome job accommodating everyone.
All the luggage conveyors broke, resulting in a very long wait for bags. Every time I come home to this decaying shell of an airport I'm reminded how.much better pretty much anywhere else is.
