They are husband and wife and graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry together. Dr. Tara is from Baton Rouge but most of her family live in Algiers and Gretna. I am so grateful for everything she has done to help us through this transition from glasses to custom contacts. Words cannot express how thankful we are to her for all her help. Hands down best eye exams and customer service. They are very personable and easy to work with that I would recommend them to anyone; not to mention they extremely knowledgeable and thorough.
Dr. Wilhite is wonderful! Quite personable and easy to talk to, but above all, extremely knowledgeable in his profession. The staff is friendly and courteous and my appointment ran very smoothyly. I would definitely recommend Greater New Orleans Eye Care to anyone looking for a quality exam with a large selection of glasses to choose from.
Worst eye place I've ever been too. They care more about making the sale than my comfort with my contact lens. And then they gave me this crap prescription that caused more problems when I tried to go else where to purchase the contact lens brand that they said "was going to be discontinued all together". I asked about color contacts and they carry the air optics brand (which didn't even change the color of my eyes). So when I asked which other brands have colors she told me there were no other brands. She failed to mention ... read more
