Horrible Prices, worse Staff – When I took my dogs there over the course of a few months, I found Patterson and Connelly both to be very standoffish and unhelpful. The doctors never call you back when you call for followup questions after your visit, and it almost seems like they choose their diagnoses at random. They are almost always hurried and talk to you like you are a child. Long time customer quits – We have been customers at Great Neck Vet since 1993 when Dr. Debra Thomas owned the business. We had a cat for 13 years that we only took to this business. But today we took 2 cats to see about ear mites. We saw Dr. Patterson. She told us they did not have mites and insisted that we buy revolution which is a flea prevention that you use once a month at $20 for each cat. Do not go here – I recently took my golden retriever to see Dr Connelly there and found her to be completely unprofessional, unknowledgeable and even combative. The office floor was very filthy and when I disagreed with an obviously incorrect diagnosis of my dog's problem she kept looking at her watch and telling me how busy she was. When i refused to pay(I had been there the previous day and paid in full for the very same problem.
