If you care about your hair, stay far away from Nelly. My mother went to her several times and actually liked her at first. Nelly even took notes on how my mom liked her hair and acted like she cared about maintaining it. Then she tried to play matchmaker, trying to introduce my mom to some man. My mom politely declined, thinking nothing of it. I’ve never left a poor review for anywhere before, but I was extremely dissatisfied with my visit. I had visited once prior to my last cut and had a great experience, but this time I left nearly in tears. After a brief consultation, we had agreed on a low taper and 1/2 an inch off the top. She proceeded to do a high taper and cut 2+ inches off the top.
