good service, helpful staff... reasonable prices
My daughter and I enjoy our visits here every time. There's a large selection of movies, ice creams, and cafe drinks to pick from. The staff is always great, and their reward cards are nice if you're a frequent visitor. Video rental shops are a dying breed but GAV&E is like a little piece of nostalgia for me having grown up in VHS rental days, and it's nice to have a local place continuing on with the tradition.

They treat you like you are a part of the community. The ice cream is scrumptious. I didn't know that there was a video store still open. A family friendly environment.
The concretes are amazing and reasonably priced. I recently tried the Double Butter expecting it to be overly sweet and simple, but I was floored- it had complexity and reminded me of nice caramelized cajeta. Highly recommended. Friendly employees, too, and pretty much the last storefront in the area to offer video and game rentals. A great small business to throw money at :)
