The people there are just as sorry as that Thor crap they sell. Never again. I bought a 2017 Thor Quantum that has broken down on every single trip. They still have yet to even send me the spare keys for the thing. Sales staff told me not to call them again with problems, that I should take it to a shop and get if fixed myself.
Awful! The purchase if the travel trailer here has been a titan nightmare. My trailer has been in the shop more than it has been out. I will send Any one my service reports. Horrible service after the sale!
Purchased a new class c rv on January 19,2017,bought eco shield package and was told to make a camping trip before they spray it so they could take care of any other problems. I returned it to Dixie RV in Breaux Bridge La on February 14th for the eco shield a shade the extra set of keys that was not given and a water heater problem. Dixie RV has been our worse nightmare since we purchased a 2017 Vilano December 27 2017. Do not stand behind their product at all. Don't. waste your time or money! ZERO rating
Will never purchase another camping vehicle or recommend anyone to purchase from Dixie RV in Hammond, LA. Their service department is absolutely horrible. We have had to put our fifth wheel in the shop every time we come back from camping. It has been in the service department more than we have had it. It takes 2-3 months to get the parts and to repair it. It took them 23 days just to order the parts and another month for them to come in. This place is a joke! I wouldn't buy anything from them. They are great when your buying but suck at service ! We literally take our rv to Florida and Texas to get it repaired we live in Louisiana. Ever person that was employed when we bought our motor coach was gone with a month, every promise they made us was not kept. PRO: On the sales side the experience was super. The salesman (Stan Bacon 5 Stars for you) took the time to listen to my description of what I wanted. Then took us to just the trailer I described, a 2018 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB. No trudging through several trailers looking for a compromise I could live with. I bought the first one he showed me. Bought a camper with $14k pre-existing water damage and they refuse to fix it. Insurance company says that the damage is "too old" to cover. had it mo I bought a 2015 Northtrail Camper by Heartland from the Dixie RV in Defuniak Springs in Florida. We were told that it was barely used because the "owner loved it so much that they turned it on for a larger 5th wheel camper." Discovered a leak in the shower and brought it to Dixie Service. 2nd time to leave feedback...still no response Purchased Big Country 3150RL from Defuniak Springs on 18 July. - Arrived early to have hitch installed. - Waited 2 hours in lobby past scheduled appointment. - In finance office I was told I owed $55.8 when a week earlier a purchase agreement was made for $55 "out the door" witnessed by Chad and Sales Manager.
