Greeted by a slovenly man smoking a cigarette. Didn't bother to put it out or down, for that matter. When asked if I've been here before, he stared blankly for a few seconds and shrugged his shoulders and said I guess we can take you. No thanks.
Recently took our car to have the oil changed .. my husband ( who has been a mechanic) noticed something wrong with the a/c and started checking fluids , no oil registering on dip stick . Added a quart of oil and then realized fresh oil below car. Took the car to a garage nearby and put up on the rack and showed him the oil drain plug was stripped . Don’t go on a Sunday. You’ll be bothering the employees. No energy whatsoever. Pulled in and spoke with Mr High Octane. Left after 30 seconds of conversation.
First off it ended up being more than what they initially quoted me. Also, I was there before 10am and should have received the early bird special of $7 off and I also had a $10 off oil change coupon. When I presented the $10 off coupon the guy said "I'll take $10 off". I feel both should have been honored. The one positive....I was in and out in 15-20 minutes.
I am very picky where I take my jeep to get serviced the gentleman were very nice and they also let me know what needed to be serviced on my jeep. Usually some places try to sell you more than what you really need and grease monkey didn't do that... i found my place to have my jeep serviced besides the dealership if need be.... thank you guys for being honest in what my jeep needed...
I had a flat tire and they were more than happy to look at it and plug it. I first went to Goodyear right next door because it was the closest, but they wanted 32 bucks for a plug. Grease monkey had the same service for 12.99. This is the same price as my local garage. I should know, nails and screws always seem to find my tires. The were incredibly nice and speedy.
