Find a different law firm. Their business model is to charge a hefty retainer and then do as little work as possible since they’ve already got your money. They are unorganized, unprofessional, and deceitful.
Called to discuss potential legal council, you know, the type of call that should promote a friendly response, and was not taken seriously, they were just not interested in my business, when I called back to explain my scenario, I was just laughed at. Pathetic.
