I received excellent care from Dr. Amber Chambers and her team recently. Dr. Chambers performed minor surgery on me, although I was under general anesthetic. I found Dr. Chambers to be professional, yet friendly, and an excellent surgeon. I also received excellent care from the outpatient surgery center. The nurses and staff were very competent, as well as demonstrating a caring attitude. I could not have received better care anywhere!
After attempting to schedule an appointment directly, my primary care care doctor called and got a date 45 days better than I could, which was still 120 days out. I arrived to my appointment at 145 for a 2pm appointment, and was told doctor was out of the office. The receptionist indicated they had tried to reach me, and I verified both numbers on file were correct. Both lines have VM setup and call logs show no attempts to reach me. I went to the Graves & Gilbert by Lost River a little after 6:00 pm on 12/20/21 when I got off work (where I have been hellaciously putting in hours.) They said the doctor was no longer seeing anyone and sent me to the G&G on Fairway. Okay, cool. Not a big deal. I get there and am told the same thing. They redirect and send me to the G&G on the far end of Scottsville Road, but they assure me that they would be able to see me by saying that location is unable to shut down early. Unprofessional, rude and acting against medical standard of care! Put my life in danger and my friend's life! Avoid this "clinic."
Sad to be put off 2 years and get video appointment due to virus and still put off.
*** ****** and staff are completely unprofessional. Wasted two days taking off of work due to this office not reading the insurance pre-authorization. Every correspondence I had to initiate and they never followed through as they promised. Don't waste your time, choose another doctor!
