My husband was having severe upper back pain. BP was extremely high. We wanted to go to Duke University Hospital. EMS said that if we want to go there they are putting us in the waiting room. I insisted on Duke. I knew my husband was having heart issues. He took us to Duke Regional and put us in the waiting room. MY HUSBAND WAS LIFE FLIGHTED TO DUKE UNIVERSITY AN HOUR LATER with an aortic dissection. Our lives are in your hands at our most desperate moments. The least you could have given was respect.
Will never ever ever be able to thank the first responder that saved my moms life on Saturday morning! Whoever you are!!! Literally cannot thank you enough!!
