I have had the best care so far. Mount Carmel west sent me home and could have killed me because all they were worried about was money. My vascular surgeon, Dr. Davis, saved my life! He got me a bed at Grant and they have given me the best care so far. I'm still not out of the woods but I know I have an amazing team of doctors and nurses to see me through this issue that should have been taken care of when I went to the ER three days ago at Mount Carmel West.

I was hospitalized for 2 months after my wreck. I truly believe that if squad had taken me to any other hospital that I would've lost my arm. Dr Wells is an amazing plastic surgeon and did everything in his power to save my arm from amputation. Dr. Taylor is an amazing orthopedic surgeon who actually just did a follow up surgery on my arm yesterday. All of the staff in ICU, CCU, surgery, 5th & 7th floor trauma units were great. The hospital could have been cleaner. Some of the restrooms were out of supplies like toilet paper & paper towels. Often the trash bins were overflowing. My friend needed s shower. She had a male nurse who wasn't keen on helping with the shower. Consequently she did get the shower. This would not be my first choice for a hospital. Riverside is much better.
Grant has always been a life saver to me in more ways than one
