Dr. Garlick is the best; he has earned very high regard in the medical community in Tampa Bay. I have been his patient for over 2 years and based on the information he provided, the evidence from X-rays and MRIs, it was clear that is was time for a partial right knee replacement . I had this surgery on 4/23/18, followed his protocol for pre/post op procedure, and at 6 weeks' recovery, I feel quite good, exercising faithfully, and getting back to normal. I recommend Dr. G without reservation!

Dr. Garlic was not only very professional but he is a very caring Dr. He takes every precaution to make sure every detail is covered. He is the most detail oriented Dr. we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I would recommend him to anyone needing any type of knee work or surgery. My mom had a total knee transplant and had zero pain since she woke up from surgery

Long history of severe OA in knees, with multiple injections, procedures, therapies which were ultimately unsuccessful. Finally saw Dr. Garlick. He is very knowledgeable regarding current therapies and treatment options. He is also very straightforward when presenting options. Listens and answers questions completely. Friendly, compassionate and empathic. Had total knee replacement two weeks ago with excellent results. Thank you Dr. Garlick.

After having three surgeons tell me that I needed a total knee replacement and they couldn't help me because I was too young, I made the two hour trip to see Dr. Garlick. For the first time, a cortisone shot worked because he used an ultrasound machine, and they didn't. He eventually did do a partial knee replacement, which was the perfect solution. The Surgery Center was amazing, and the operation was a piece of cake. He is the only orthopedic doctor I will ever see. Thank you Dr. Garlick!!

My husband saw Dr. Garlick as a new patient today. As a health care provider, I am very diasspointed in his experience which was reported to me. My husband is a retired, disabled US Army veteran. Due to his 20 years of service he has multiple health issues. My husband felt judge by this doctor due to being overweight (as a result of health issues not because He doesn't attempt to be active) and on Medicare. At one point during the visit my husband was asked why was he "on Medicare."

Thank you for your feedback. It's an orthopedics Catch-22: A high BMI puts excess pressure on weight-bearing joints, so heavier people are more likely to need joint replacement. These patients face more risk from surgery, get less improvement and have higher complication rates than normal-weight patients. Dr. Garlick encourages patients to lose weight to improve their health and obtain better surgical results. We apologize that your husband's experience fell short of your expectations.
I switched from the very popular Dr. Lyons to Dr. Garlick. He is wonderful. I broke my right knee cap in many pieces. He managed to salvage a few of those pieces and now it is good as new. Love him!

I went to Dr.Garlick after being in such much pain because of a broken cartilage. I'm walking without pain. After that happened my other knee was giving me trouble, I went yesterday and I had a shot for my pain on my knee and amazingly I DID NOT FELT THE SHOT!!! What else can I ask for. Dr.Garlick is Amazing and his crew too!!!Thank you Girls!!!!!
