Believe all the 1-star reviews. Explanation for the cognitive tests given were vague which led to him removing “points”, and he didn’t care to hear why my relative did what she did or chose the answers she chose nor did he care to listen to me when I said that she wasn’t unsure and confused, which he kept pressing, but that she has a shy nature and always acted as such in a new setting. He asked questions that a young healthy brain might not know the answer to but then made her feel like she was in decline, which she isn’t (... read more
Doesn’t listen, no hands on, not interested in history, made me feel insignificant/not worth his time despite the fact that I was having a great deal of pain and discomfort that was obviously neural in nature. When asked about this, he was defensive and dismissive. Husband was with me and concurs.
Excellent. Good rapport. Listens well to my concerns. On time. Easy to communicate with even beyond the appointment.
He seemed hurried and not focused on my concerns and not much time was spent with me, considering it to 5 weeks to make an appointment. The personal attention as well as the follow up was extremely lacking given the severity of my injury.
I saw this doctor for POTS and heart rate/ blood pressure issues, but he treated me for for migraines with a steroid that was dangerously contraindicated with my other medications. Luckily another doctor caught it! Later, armed with tests from Stanford, I inquired about seeing him again, but he said it was all stress and that he wouldn't work with me. There is plenty available research out there showing that my symptoms are part of a disease process. This guy's got a hammer, looking for nails!
Friendly, efficient but takes time to explain, listens intently.
The first time I saw him for daily headaches he attempted to prescribe me a medication that I just finished telling him made it hard for me to breathe, and 2 which I told him did not work. During my follow-up visit he asked me 0 questions about my headaches and instead just upped the dose of the medication I told him was still not working. He only explained his reasoning (which was reasonable) when I objected. Did not seem like he cared much about the pain itself. No change in my headaches.
Did not read the forms filled out for the appointment. Did not listen to my concerns about medication. Attempted to prescribe me a medication that would interact seriously with medication I am already taking.
