Outdated and problematic AC units, disorganized and potentially dishonest office management. Very dishonest with the way they treat you and will give you problem after problem. My girlfriend just moved out after several rent increases and problems getting things fixed. **Corporate Minded Only** Imagine renting from McDonald's. Same type of business practices and same type of personal treatment, especially when there is a problem.
A nightmare. Continuing raised rent, questionable business ethics and they surely will fight you on fixing anything, even essentials. Greedy and shady. Stay away from anything managed by Granite Properties of Texas.
GREAT PLACE TO LIVE – I am writing this review not only because I live here and love it but also because I read the negative comments posted by a former tenant and it made me angry. I have lived here for over two years and have the privilege of knowing Lisa and her staff. I have always been treated with respect and any problems I might have are always taken care of. Keep looking. – My roommate and I stayed at Littlefield Apts from 2006-2007 initially managed by Capital Properties (which I dearly missed) and took over by Granite Properties. Capital Properties maintained the complex very well with constant maintenance. However, when Granite took over, things went unfixed for weeks to months. Some examples: 1) Our electronic gate to the garage was jammed from time to time and inoperable. Capital Properties would have people over in a day and fixed in a day. NEVER SIGN A LEASE HERE – I was a tenant in an apartment complex that Granite Properties managed during the 2006-2007 academic school year. The complex was managed by a different company, Capital Properties, prior to Granite Properties' purchase of the complex in the 3rd quarter of 2006. On June 28, 2007, I discovered that my roommate and I had been charged $40 to repair the hinge on our washer and dryer sliding door.
