If I could give this a zero I would, I used to love coming here but after today’s experience I don’t think I’ll be back. The staff was so rude and the place was disgusting. The bathroom had pee all over the seat and feces, tampons all over the floor, and the other stall doesn’t lock so I finally had to just ask my husband to go check the men’s bathroom so I could use that because the bathroom was so gross. My buddy and I went for the beer, burgers and margarita night tonight. The service was slow and it wasn’t busy. The food was good but getting our tabs turned into a nightmare! We wanted to split our bill in half. The guy said that he couldn’t do it because his computer was acting up. So he asked us who wants to pay for the original bill and who wants to do the discounted bill. We let him do it and not realizing what’s going on. 1st time back on the patio since the re-opening. Mara was our server and she was amazing! Definitely will request her if she's working next time we go!
We ordered a hamburger grill pack for takeout. It was missing cheese and there was no chip dip included in the pack. Also, we only received one small serving of coleslaw. We called to inquire about the missing items and were told that the manager told them to cut back on giving people coleslaw and sorry we were missing items. They did not offer any replacements or discounts. Beware if you order this, you will need to go buy your own sides as apparently they have to cut back on what is suppose to be included.
We enjoyed a wonderful take out for the Lawless brunch, today. I was very pleased with the food and the ability to get it to go. Great Job Granite City.
amazing staff, great food, great atmosphere...
I think Granite City is my new favorite restaurant. I eat GF by necessity and I'm vegetarian by choice. Not many restaurants have options for people who are both those things. I went out to eat at GC for the first time and got the Beyond Burger with a GF bun. it was heavenly. The food was great, the staff was incredibly friendly, especially our waiter, and the food came out pretty quick. I definitely recommend this place and will for sure be coming back. 10/10.
