Rent elsewhere. I lived at Grandview (45th St) for 5 years. The last year was horrible. The new management appeared disinterested in landlord'ing. I had a screen door leak for over a year, a water-fall esque ceiling leak for 3+ months when it would rain and a positive mold test. After being told there's "mildew all over the apartments and its nothing to worry about" by the head of maintenance I decided to get out of there. The building foundations are failing and there were once 45+ work orders after a rainstorm.
This god awful place just tried to make me pay June rent twice claiming I didn't pay it. Thank god I kept my receipt. Then they like to charge late fees of $50 if you don't pay by 6:00 p.m. on the 1st of the month when it's stated the last day to pay is the 3rd. Don't live here unless you like getting screwed out of hundreds of dollars.
Terrible..... New management sucks. Been here over 7 years and the last 6 to 9 months can't wait to get out of here. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
