I was billed $750 just for walking in—without ever seeing a doctor or receiving any treatment. Even after their staff admitted it was a mistake, they still sent my account to collections. This is unacceptable and feels like nothing but predatory billing.
I had a very disappointing experience with Grand River Hospital. On September 29, 2023, I visited the hospital but did not receive any medical services, consultation, or see a physician. At the reception, I was informed of a $750 registration fee that is apparently charged automatically upon registration, even if no medical service is received.
