Why your system so broken crisis used be very helpful just lazy for no reason to put it through 988 number such cowards for mental health and creates more issues with care then a paycheck getting help is so dumb. Not even person of suicide but person of crisis put responsibility up for. Oh crisis doesn't work holidays either end up being arguing with 988 number about trying get of crisis when you're NOT A PERSON OF SUICIDE BUT person in crisis. EMT called my kid a "customer" in the ambulance last night. Got to the hospital and after 4 hours found out there's no out patient psychiatrists for kids in the community. Google estimates about 60,000 kids and youth in kw do not even have access to a family doctor. The ONLY kids in the community (anyone 0 - 18) that are able to access psychiatric care are the ones IN the hospital and they have no access once they leave. 110, 125 kids live in KW. The CAIP unit has 13 beds. So 13 kids out of 110,125 get access to proper psych... read more
