I've been coming to the Lakeshore Opticians (now part of Grand Rapids Ophthalmology) on Bagley in East Grand Rapids since I was a child. It was always premium Care and phenomenal customer service. I don't know what has happened since they were bought out but they are completely unreliable to be open when you want to purchase glasses. I had my eyes exam there and that service was great but I have tried four times since to go in and select frames. 1st time here & probably the worst eye appointment ever. I felt like I was there for 2 minutes and walked out with nothing. It felt very unprofessional.
Optometrist was great and thorough But the last 2pairs of glasses were not helpful and often I see better without them. Definitely do not drive at night with them.
Grand Rapids Ophthalmology does NOT care about bad experiences their customers have. Each time they said to leave a message with one of the top people (Amy I believe) about a bad experience I had with one of their doctors, I never heard back. They never followed up, never wrote in my chart regarding the issue or wrote down my request to not be seen by that doctor again. Words cannot describe my experience here. The team here is amazing! Dr. K was supper accommodating to our last minute visit there. I was not expecting a follow up call on how my daughter was doing and he did just that. Thank you guys for caring for your patients, you dont see that everyday. Gives me some faith that there is still good people out there.
