The food is "GREAT". Every time I go their I am TOTALLY satisfied.
It used to be the best BBQ around. My have times changed. Lunch staff was not prepared, meats I wanted weren't available, pulled pork was hot on top but had cold potato inside. Only saving grace was getting to buy a loaf of jalapeño bread, to go.
The bar b que chicken tasted as if it was cooked two days prior to my purchase. That chicken was so dry, it was awful. I really don't know how they can take your money knowing their food is garbage. Palmer highway robbery.
So this is more of a vent than a review. An old Caucasian couple accused me and my husband of parking in a handicap spot. We politely said no we did not. We parked next to the handicap spot. Well he didn't believe us, so we said look for yourself. Well of course then he wasn't interested in looking. Well the little person preparing plates took it upon herself to make the couple's plates before... read more
This was the worst BBQ I have had since I came to Texas 9 years ago. Very bland except for the scorched, burnt taste. Best part of the meal was the Pickles. The service was also lacking. First time I had been to your place and when I said so, the only thing I got was a feeling that I was interrupting the employees from their conversation behind the counter. I got NO assistance in how things worked or what I might like to try. The meal was about $30 for my husband and I. I could have spent that money at a better place and not... read more
Extremely bland brisket that was 80% fat. The "sweet" tea was not sweet at all. When I went to change my drink because of it they were out of sprite too. They also forgot to give us our discount on our baked potatoes. To top it off, after inquiring about the ADVERTISED stuffed jalapeño brisket peppers, we were abruptly told they weren't making any tonight... Good job on the sauce though.
First time I ever ate there, we had the brisket - it was SOOO good!! I want to come back and try your chicken!
