As far as the options in this area it’s good bbq, it’s not near as good as it once was but it is really decent food, it’s really pricey for what you get.
I love this place, the food is awesome and the Owner is amazing. They were soo kind to buy cookies from our troop and meet up with the kids to donate them back to Texas City ISD for all the teachers. And to top it off He gave my dad a hat.... The owner was soo nice to my daughter and to my parents. Amazing guy and restaurant.
I've been coming here for 20+ years, and I've never had an issue up until today. My daughter took a bite out of one of her ribs, and a long, curled piece of black hair was left hanging from her lip. The ribs were plated right out of a plastic bag, so we're not sure who the hair belonged to. The problem is when the plate was taken back to the front prep area, instead of the problem being taken care of right away, everyone just insisted on stating "It's not my hair!!". My husband is working long hours out of town so I thought I would stop in here to pick a brown bag special and surprise him with some food from home. I asked for the BBQ sauce to be on the side and was told you cannot get the sauce on the side when getting a brown bag special (in which i thought he was joking). At first i thought ok it’s already premixed but nope they said it’s not.
