The rooms are small but quite nice. Beds very comfy and sheets and towels are nice. Long NYC weekend with my daughter. Django Jazz in basement is hidden gem. Wonderful Saturday evening from 9:30 to 12. Front desk staff quite nice. Breakfast today: ordered Black Forest Ham Omelette today and received "wilted" greens instead of herbed potatoes. Hostess was terrific; waitress was lackluster to poor. Bagel breakfast (Russ & Daughters) was nice. Over-all disappointed in experience of 2 breakfasts, a cappuccino and a coffee for $6... read more

Me and my partner stopped there last year one of the most memorable stops in New York do it !!!!!
Thanks front desk staff, John and everyone. You were amazing and attentive and thoughtful. Loved the stay there. (Only caveat - skip the restaurant. They need a lesson from the front desk and bell staff.)
I had the pleasure of staying at the Roxy last week, while in town on business. I can't recommend the hotel enough! The staff was exceptional, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. After a long day of meetings in the city, the doorman told me how lovely I looked. He made my day, and it made me realize that more hotels could learn from the Roxy staff! Room service food was excellent and quick to arrive, the rooms were great, and the location can't be beat. A definite "must stay" anytime you're in the city and nee... read more

I was there with my family for one week. The hotel was beautiful and the Host friendly.
Beware of the horrible and unprofessional management. Last night they refused to let people with valid ID's in, who paid for the show already, and were nothing but respectful. The bouncers were on a power trip laughing at the people they denied. My friend was one of those they refused to let in. I complained to management and told me to leave for doing so. Not even offering refunds is horrible and so disrespectful. In all my years supporting NYC's underground music scene, I've never dealt with anything like this before. It's... read more

I'm sorry, what show is this that you paid for? We generally don't have paid shows... Maureen Griswold
This over priced, run down hotel should be ashamed for such false advertising. Crappy rooms, crappy bathroom, put on the 2nd floor so had to listen to full blown jazz band 2 levels down until 11pm. Front desk barely squeezed a smile and the price of this place is CRAZY for what it is. Thank god I'm only here for two nights! Don't bother!
don't really ever do this, but after my experience this afternoon I feel obliged to let other patrons how thoroughly disappointed we were with the service this afternoon at Tribecca Grand Lounge Bar at 4pm today... it was almost empty when we arrived... had to ask twice for water (took 25 mins)... then our drinks took over 45 mins to arrive... even after asking the uninterested staff several times what was causing the delay... with no reason ever given... iconic building, great location, decent cocktails... but not worth the... read more
