Nice place but a little expensive ..
I had high expectations for the Grand Bohemian Birmingham after a fantastic experience at their Charlotte location, but this stay was a major disappointment. From the moment I entered the room, I was hit with a strong bleach smell, and several drawers were left open, making it feel like someone had just checked out moments before I walked in. The location is the best part about this hotel. The rooms are comfortable enough. But as an avid traveler, for both work and personal, this hotel is grossly overpriced (including food and drinks). The service is subpar, particularly for the price. After obtaining a late check out (since check in is 4 pm and check out is 11 am), housekeeping repeatedly was banging on the door from 10:30 am on.
