I would first like to praise the staff who took care of me at around 5AM Thursday, April 2, after having to return to the ER (2x within 24 hours) for a recurring pain crisis. This is very unusual for me as I don’t have the severe version of sickle cell disease. I'm from California so the fact that there is a sickle cell clinic, I really appreciate it. I was seen right away. Everyone from the the nurse, the doctor, the EKG text, registration lady were very pleasant. Shaute was a great nurse and I appreciateed her. She was so patient and gentle. The doctor was very friendly and checked Care360 to understand what I had been given before and changed the orders right away! I will definitely be back if I happened I have a crisis. Btw, the food was pretty good! I'm so grateful for the sic... read more

I've been coming here since I was 19 and enough is enough I love the sickle cell clinic I love the nurses it's the doctors, they pick and choose who they want to actually help. My pain medicine is constantly going down when I'm saying my pain is still a 8-10. Me and another sickle cell patient arrived the same day and we're in the same room my pain is 8/10 and they're steady going down on my meds but my neighbor has been in the same pain regimen since we both got here. They pick and choose and I'm done this is my last time c... read more

I’m from outta town was here on vacation I had a flight back home I needed blood and was denied blood and told I needed to be admitted. The doc told me they would pay for my flight home not to worry. It’s been two weeks now I’m still here. The doctor who is currently on my case told me for the last 3 days that hematology ... read more
