The absolute nicest human being I have ever known. As a doctor, he listens, he explains and he takes his time. He never rushes or makes you feel like he has somewhere else to be. He makes you feel like "you" are his only patient. He is a perfectionist and thorough and wants you to feel the absolute best that you can and works toward that end. I would never compromise for another hand surgeon.
Professional and knowledgeable with wonderful bedside manner. A combination very hard to find.

I like him. I wish he would spend more time with me but he does make sure I'm taken care of.
Dr. Maddox told me he could fix a torn ligament in my hand, but after 2 years of continuing pain after his surgery it never worked! I have been told by another doctor that surgery usually won't work in my certain situation and if Dr. Maddox was honest, he would have told me and not taken my money! And had the nerve to try to accuse me of just wanting pain pills! Many other complaints I could report him for!
