One of the most positive medical experiences I've ever had. It's the graduate clinic, not the faculty practice, so you'll be seen by residents and dental students (overseen my a faculty member). It might take a little bit longer than seeing a private practice specialist, or going to the faculty practice, but you'll also probably save money. The resident I saw was warm, thorough, and extremely competent. After months of pain, I felt seen and believed. Very bad clinic composed of student doctors. The students really have no idea what they are doing and just trying to "play it safe" to impress their supervising doctor. The staff is very rude and have no idea what is going on with their insurance. Would highly recommend that you stay away from this clinic, do not let the UCLA name fool you.

The staff is rude and incompetent. My jaw was in excruciating pain so I called in for some pain med and a muscle relaxer and it took one week before they called it into my pharmacy all the while being in excruciating pain. Not to mention I called the office everyday and got an answering machine so finally I asked to speak to the dentist in charge. UCLA has gone down hill because I think they take Med-iCal.
