Dr. Hou answered all my questions in layman's language so I could understand. She took a lot of time with me. My surgery was exactly what she explained to me. She is wonderful.
Dr. Hou is extremely knowledgeable and is very informative.

I was pleased and relieved that I chose Dr. Hou. She is smart, pragmatic, knowlegable, thoughtful and caring. She explained everything about my condition and what I can expect in regards to treatment. She provided recommendations on exercise and diet. I was leaning towards wanting a double mastectomy and Dr Hou explained why this is not recommended for my condition. I send her a huge hug for steering me toward sanity. I will have a lumpectomy in about two weeks. Thank you, Dr. Hou!
Of course I recommend Dr. Hou, to everyone! She is amazing! And makes sure she knows everything about your cancer before the surgery! And then does a beautiful job of putting the breast back together! Having a acquaintance who had the same surgery but was a stage 2, and didn’t have as many tests bi-lateral MRI, w/w/o contrast! Had to remove more of her breast! And it was a shock to her! My result was just as she had told me! She is amazing!
Dr. Hou is the best doctor who has ever cared for me. She is thoughtful and was very complete in her assessments of my health problem. She also is willing to give me advice on exercises and food/drinks that would help me with my health. When my husband, a bulldog of a journalist, and I went to see her on the first visit after it was discovered that I had breast cancer, my husband had many questions. Thank God Dr. Hou was recommended to me after my diagnosis. She is a wonderful surgeon who demonstrates so much care and compassion! I truly feel that she really cares about her patients!
