Our experience in the Emergency Department was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. After waiting four hours to see a doctor, a CT scan was ordered. We then waited an additional 1.5 hours before checking on the status of the scan at approximately 2:45 a.m. At that point, we were informed that the CT order had only just been submitted because the doctor had forgotten to place it. I did not go to a hospital since a long time ago. Today I visited there met with great receptionists, Nurses and Doctors. Dr Shaw's beside manner was so gentle and respectful I was watching him deal with a mental health patient he was so respectful and kind towards the patient . After I met him myself and he was quite compassiate. I met with two other doctors Dr Butchy and Dr Habbal were amazingly kind and respectful. Waiting time insane for nothing the staff don’t care about patients. I herd the doctor walking by saying “i have 2 kids now ill see as many patients as I can, unfortunately” our public servants should not have this attitude
I loved my experience here both times. The staff here is so genuine. I guarantee you a lot of the people that are complaining in the reviews came for minor concerns and were upset that they weren’t prioritized. I saw a lady near me (I could hear her) come in because of a headache. Meanwhile I only came in because I felt like I was on the verge of dying from flu. ****PLEASE READ**** I have respect for those who work in healthcare but for this specific hospital it needs a total revamp of their staff. My dad came in for dizziness and come to find out his BP was 170+ and he's diabetic. I was very concerned and he was told that he needed to do a blood test and ECG. One person waiting with me kindly asked the nurse the queue for his wife to be seen. She said it would be displayed on the TV in the waiting room (which was off).
