They didnt finish things they said they would and they didnt pay their contractors. Do not hire them.
GP R&R my home roof in May 2019. I developed a leak in the roof last year and tried to repair it myself, but was unsuccessful. The contract with GP provided a 5 year workmanship warranty. I first contacted them on 5/2/2024; then spoke with GP receptionist ********* on 5/3 and 5/6 2024. She stated a warranty specialist would contact me, but no one did. We had them replace our roof two years ago. Noticed a leak in our ceiling. They blamed a nail coming from under the roof as the cause, even though it's well away from the leak. There's no attic access under the roof in the affected room. Their warranty means nothing.
Horrible company. Sold me a "high end" roof we paid extra for that is is falling apart within the first 2 years. Installed gutters that were not done properly. Had two leaks due to installation mistakes. Had an employee steel money and will not return phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS ROOFING COMPANY. Run far away.
Outstanding performance, above and beyond agreement. Long version: On June 30, 2022 we contracted with GP Construction to replace our roof and stain our fence, insurance adjuster approved following a hailstorm. The Project Manager kept all the commitments including replacing gutters (slightly more than original), protecting skylights and installing four new solar powered heat vents (one replaced a burned out electric powered vent). This company is a scam, they tried to cut corners every possible way and get your check. ********************* is on-site manager. This company did my roof in 2014 and my roof leaked after couple of years in my porch and master bedroom. Porch leak was water gushing leak they came and fixed that. I have never heard of this Company before and I usually do not leave reviews. I think it’s a waste of time. However, I have had one experience recently that turned me off to the entire business. 2 days ago we had a major hail storm in my area and of course the roofers start knocking the day after. Doing business with GP at the beginning was great, fast, reliable, and accurate quote but we had leaking roof issue from day 1 as they do not do a good job checking the work of their contractors they hire. We had roof done January 2019 and both the roof and gutters were done poorly that we had over $12k in interior damage to walls and floors. I do not recommend contracting with GP construction. Outside of putting effort into the financial portion they put absolutely no effort or due diligence into the actual roof. They sub (like many other roofing companies) out and do not have anyone overseeing the job. There sub contractors rush and do less than professional work. Such as doubling drip edge. Rushing in hot weather and scuffing brand new shingles. Having amateurs incorrectly install the starter strip amongst many other unprofessional work. Additionally, when cal... read more
