Governor Abbott is a complete failure as governor. The Republican Party in this state is corrupt on such a deep level and have proven time and time again they are incapable of governing. Our public education if floundering, we are nowhere near the top in terms of the strength of the Texas economy anymore, and religious extremism is the new norm. Such a shame. Governor Abbott needs to go next election.
This governor is a liar, has tunnel vision and absolutely no idea about what's right & wrong when it comes to the people who are here to make a better life for themselves. As a priviledged individual, there' NO WAY he can relate to those less fortunate than himself. The blurp I saw on the Austin news with him saying Travis County Sheriff refuses to detain/turn over non-citizens with a criminal background is ludicrous. He's obviously ill informed and ignorant of how LEOs handle criminals.
Greg Abbott is doing a wonderful job, stay tuned for after May 20th the real work and show of leadership will be able to be seen. Inhuman Governor with claimed "Christian Values" yet forgets to love his neighbors and show compassion. Most heartless Governor in Texas! Same kind as Trump!
Abbott just signed a bill targeting minorities, attacking cities, and marginalizing the most vulnerable crime victims. All while Texas's economy dropped from 3rd to 21st under his watch. Disaster.
Under your watch, Texas mothers giving birth die ever day. Under your leadership, the Texas economy has fallen dramatically. You spend more money on bathroom laws than you spend on education and child welfare. You are an embarrassment.
