And lo there was a mighty flood, and a pious man climbed on top of the roof of his house and watched the waters rise. And shortly a farmer came along with a backhoe and said unto him “quick, get into the bucket and I can drive us through the floods to safety”, but the pious man refused, saying he had prayed to the lord and the lord would save him. So the farmer drove off, and the waters rose. Then a boat came alongside his roof and the boatman instructed “get in, I can sail us through the floods to the higher ground and safe... read more

fuel, big difference, in the seventies station owners could buy only a percentage of what they had bought ten years before, the gulf of Mexico was full of ships with a glut of oil, was a devised oil shortage supposedly to keep people from driving too far, now we have a supply of oil, refineries not producing because of being shut in because of the storm and there is no reason for a price increase, just another rip off , remember the same law should apply for ripping consumers off because of a crisis! Do your job mr Attorney ... read more

Here is an idea: Let the Texas Legislature and Gov. pass a $2.00 a gallon gas tax and impose a 9% State Income tax on the rest of Texas unaffected by this storm...this way the national debt is not increased and they can recover by their own money.......there are many wealthy people in Texas...they can afford it.

If a man and a woman have a child out of wedlock they are both equally responsible for supporting that child 50/50. I don't care who makes more or less we need to half dental, medical and support cost. Its 2017 not 1960 and women want to be equal so lets treat them that way and not house wives! Both parties deserve to live comfortably and pursue education not one or the other. No ones raising wages to offset inflation and I have to 6 to 12 months for a child support hearing are you serious!!

Why is no one in Texas office taking advantage of this tragic moment and legalize recreational and medical marijuana earn huge amounts of profits within a couple of weeks and use that profit to fix the damage from what the hurricane left behind
