I love the State of Texas, but I am not liking what I found out today. Why would the State of Texas will all of the people that are needing jobs outsource HR Department functions for several different agencies. I found out today that to verify employment you call a company in St. Louis, MO and to get information regarding garnishment of payroll funds you have to send a request to a company in Florida. Why can't these jobs be located in Texas for Texans to have employment. Like I said I love Texas but sometime I am confused w... read more

We seem to have a real problem with people in congress ignoring the problem of immigration. We hear talking points about amnesty, and guest worker, even undocumented immigrant. We have republicans converting to the liberal philosophy of just turning these illegal immigrants into citizens in a no harm no foul play. Guess what. This is not the problem! I have an idea. Would it be possible for the Great State of Texas to start buying gold and silver bullion with all extra revenue? Precious metals are a proven solid investment and the dollar is on a constant slide downward, this could greatly enrich the state in the future. Just a though.
