AS A MOTHER, WOMAN, VETERAN AND CHRISTIAN, I AM SO VERY PROUD OF GOVERNOR PERRY'S DECISION TO PLACE THE NATIONAL GUARD ON THE BORDER. WE THE PEOPLE NEED LEADERS OF CHARACTER SUCH AS GEORGE WASHINGTON AND ABE LINCOLN OR ELSE WE WILL DESTROY OURSELVES FROM WITHIN. I PRAY THE GOVERNOR CONTINUES TO MAKE WISE AND GOD LIKE DECISIONS. ITS PAST DUE AS THE FAR LEFT DEMOCRATS ACT AND THE REPUBLICANS TALK....WE NEED TO WALK THE TALK AND VOTE FOR LEADERS AS SUCH!

I don't understand why we ask and ask, and ask some more for help to secure the border. Yet no help is given the law of this land is being walked all over by the government. What use is a government that dues not follow the constitution of the United states of America. The few jobs we give them they can't do because they have too many hand in the cookie jar. This really shows the United states of America is not what it was supposed too be. Texas should secede from this corrupt and iron curtain of a government.

Proud native Texan who does not understand why our Governor whom i respect would allow government contractors from others states be allowed to set up road blocks in Fort Worth Texas and force people driving to pull over at roadblocks by police to be swabbed for DNA or take blood and allow U.N. armored trucks to be suited with shackles and f.e.m.a. camps to be established. I use to feel safe in my home state now not so sure. What are the chances that the Lone Star State be transitioned to a police state?

I am giving one star right now. But if the governor of the Great State of Texas is too afraid of Obama to call up the national guard to seal the border, at least have the stones to call up Texans that want to protect our families, our homes, and our way of life in this great state! I love this land more than my own life, and I want my children and my future lineage to be safe, secure, and masters of their own happiness. Now I want to know, NO, I demand an answer from my governor! What are we gonna do about the 10's of thousa... read more

I'm concerned about our border. I'm to understand there are approximately 5000 aliens every day. May be 2000 are arrested. Is there no-way for secure border?
