Gov Abbott we need to do something about our Nursing Homes here in the Great State of Texas

Last night we had the privilege of having our Governor Greg Abbott give the speach to the graduating class of Duncanville High School 2015 . I was so excited and couldn't believe such a humble God fearing man took the time from a busy schedule to come motivate us . God bless our governor and the Lord Jesus Christ watch over him and his family. And God bless and prosper him.
Sadly disappointed in Gov. Abbott's staff today when I called to register my concerns about the pending execution on Wed., June 3 of Lester Bower. The staff member was rude and I have no confidence that this citizen's concerns will be heard! I am a proponent of the death penalty but not in cases where there is so much evidence that has come to light in the past 30 years that he has been on death row. At the very least his sentence should be commuted to life. But really, he should receive a new trial.

I like your positions on most issues, but you've taken the wrong stance on the legalization of marijuana. I don't smoke weed, and probably wouldn't if it were legal. But as a sober alcoholic, I can tell you that alcohol is a much greater "gateway drug" than pot will ever be. Please reconsider your stance on this. Or I will reconsider my stance on your second term.
